Grow Your Own Pharmacy!

The very first thing you thought of when I said that was probably something that is illegal in your state. No it not THC.

My grandmother was very Appalachian minded and when I was younger I remember her talking about drinking tea made of things my Dad was spraying weed killer on, both happening almost simultaneously.

Ironic now that something like TikTok and Facebook is opening peoples eyes to things that people from my own family tree and in my life time was using instead of modern medication.

Even my younger (than me) niece is adopting some of these “new” yet old fashioned remedies to stabilize her children’s health during a time when a doctors visit is to costly or unwarranted.

None of us are doctors, or even close to having a medical degree and that is why we all have trusted some of those REELS and STORIES that entertain us for hours on our smartphones. Probably some of the best stuff to come out of these dumb phones are some of these modern day, yet old fashion cure all’s.

Since me, my grandmother and my niece or any or most of these REEL & STORY STARS are not medical doctors we have to rely on those that have taken the plunge and obtained a degree to better advice us.

Nicole Apelian, Ph.D

I was recently introduced to Nicole Apelian, Ph.D and she is a mother, an herbalist, a survival skills instructor, and a biologist. She graduated with a degree in Biology from McGill University and further developed my herbal skills in the desert of Kalahari. She lived there for years with one of the oldest cultures on Earth, the San Bushmen. Many San still live off what the land provides in terms of food and medicine, and many of them live well to a ripe old age without ever taking pills or seeing the inside of a hospital.

When she was just 29 years old, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. MS is an incurable autoimmune condition that makes your own immune system attack the brain and spinal cord. She was in constant agony, most of the times in a wheelchair.

The Western treatment prescribed by he doctors didn’t provide much relief. For the last 20 years she has been managing her MS using the natural remedies that she personally grew in her backyard. She went from being pushed in a wheelchair to being fully alive. So much that in 2015 she survived for 57 days straight in the wild on the History Channel’s TV show Alone.

She turn to her small backyard pharmacy whenever she is in pain, catch a cold, have fever, and so on. She hasn’t stepped foot in a pharmacy in a very long time. She has all she needs there in her backyard for her and the whole family.

Much like my Grandmother Steele she is taking what God gave us and not some man made formulated pill that is more than likely made of something we would never find just outside our door in the garden or yard.

Dr Apelian has created a kit that you can turn any area of your lawn, patio or garden into a pharmacy for just about any condition.
